The Evolution of Green: Plant Evolution and the Fossil Record

Join us as Dr. Tamara Schiappa Geology Professor Emeritus takes us on a Journey through time along the fossil trail to trace the evolution of ancient algae into the rich diversity of modern land plants, a transformation that turned barren rock into lush, green landscapes. 

This event is donation based. All contributions will go directly to the Western PA Conservancy in support of land preservation in Butler and Lawrence Counties. Cash donations will be gratefully accepted at  the event. Every dollar makes a difference for the land we all love.
